Wanaka Flight Training: Learn to Fly NZ

Sit in the Captains seat, take the controls & pilot your way over Lake Wanaka.  Your instructor will share his decades of flying experience & show you everything you need to know including the take-off and flying.  No experience necessary & take a passenger for FREE

The 20 minute trial flight will take you over Lake Wanaka, towards Glendhu Bay and back up the Clutha River to Wanaka Airport.

The 1 hour trial flight will take you over Lake Wanaka, Glendhu Bay and up to Mt Aspiring, before returning over Mou Waho and up the Clutha River to Wanaka Airport.

 

Just 10 minutes from Central Wanaka, you can sit in the Captains seat, take the controls and pilot your way though some of the world's most magnicient scenery.  Once you're strapped in, your Instructor will share his decades of flying experience and show you everything you need to know before handing over control and putting the flight in your hands.  After that, its over to you to take-off, keep the aircraft straight and level, make the turns and feel the thrill and freedom only aviation can give you.  Plus bring a friend along for FREE!

Departs 6 Spitfire Lane, Wanaka Airport.  Open  7 days per week from 8.30am - 5.00pm.  Closed Christmas Day
