Torquay Surf Lesson

Go Ride A Wave is Australia's favourite surf school since 1987. We provide 2 hour surf lessons every day at Torquay including a full length Quiksilver wetsuit and a soft beginner surf board with 2 hours of instruction and fun.

Day 1 : 2Hour Surf Lesson at Torquay
Meet at our shop at Torquay at least 10 minutes before the lesson time. Collect your full length Quiksilver wetsuit and soft beginner surf board and walk to the beach. begin with a safety briefing and some basic instruction on the beach. Catch your first few waves in waist deep water then return to the beach for more detailed instruction about how to stand up on your surf board. The remainder of the lesson will be spent in the water with your instructor helping everyone to stand up on their surf board. At the end of the lesson you will return to the shop for a shower and the instructor will explain options to continue surfing by either further lessons or by hiring equipment and trying yourself.
