Bookings: Early confirmation is recommended to ensure you get your accommodation option.

Day 1: Meet, Greet & Discover Shanghai

The adventure starts today after you arrive at our nominated Shanghai hostel. Shanghai is now all grown up, just waiting to be discovered. You may like to arrive a couple of days earlier to explore magical places like Taikang Ave or one of the bars overlooking the Bund! Around the hostel there are plenty of back alleyway restaurants, but also high end fashion shopping as well. Remember to be back at the hostel by 6pm to join your fellow travellers and Trip Leader at the bar for an introduction on your Dragon Bus Pass.

Day 2: Shanghai Sites, Sounds & more Delights
Start the day at your own pace, but make sure you head out from the hostel for a traditional local breakfast of Xiao Long Bao (little dragon balls) or similar from one of the many local vendors that feed the local Shanghainese. After lunch, join your Trip Leader for an afternoon checking out the Bund, French Concession area and Xintiandi entertainment area. You could also consider heading to Pudong in the morning and heading up the world's highest observation deck at the top of Shanghai Financial Tower, 474m above the street. Spend your evening at one of the many bars that are in this amazing city.

Day 3: Watertowns, UNESCO sites & Suzhou
Leaving in the morning we head directly to a still working canal water town. Walking through here will transport you back to years gone by. After this magical water village we'll head for the nearby Suzhou. Suzhou is world renowned for its beauty with various UNESCO listed gardens, pagodas and canals. On the way we'll head to a 600 year old silk factory, where this old age craft is demonstrated to the group. On arrival in Suzhou you can stay with the bus and Trip Leader where the bus will continue exploring several of the UNESCO listed World Heritage sites. At the end of a great day it's even more important to make sure the night is both fun and exciting. In Suzhou there is no problem here as Shi Qian Jie Lu is famous across China for being one of the best restaurant and bar streets!

Day 4: Suzhou, finishing in the lights of ShanghaiThe morning is yours to continue exploring Suzhou. Your Trip Leader will be on hand to ensure you're able to explore Suzhou, with one site that should not be missed being the "I.M. Pei" designed Suzhou Museum. After lunch the Dragon Bus will transport you from the hostel to the train station where your Trip Leader will farewell you as you board the 1 hr bullet train back to Shanghai. This will conclude your adventure on arrival into Shanghai. However for many this can be the start of a new adventure, with plenty to do with the friends they have just made!  P.S Accommodation can be extended for this night in Shanghai as it is NOT included in the Pass and should be pre-booked.
