Laos is slowly changing as a country and culture so be sure to see its beauty before it changes forever….
DAY 1: Chiang Mai to the Laos Boarder (D) From Chiang Mai you travel by mini van up to the Chiang Kong boarder village. In the evening you stay overnight in a budget guesthouse - twinshare (if you are travelling alone we will match you up with another traveller to share).
DAY 2: Slow Boat – Thailand to Laos (B) Time to cross the border into Laos. Your guide will take you to the visa crossing then prepare you for your two day boat journey on the Mekong River. Enroute you will experience the local life as you pass small fishing villages on the river side. Accommodation – At your own Expense Budget for $10 to $35
DAY 3: Slow Boat, overnight stay in Luang Prabang Today you continue along the Mekong River to Luang Prabang. The Northern City with a French influence and a strong Buddhist presence with a collection of historical Wat’s (temples).
DAY 4: Luang Prabang Early rise to witness the Buddhist morning ritual as they receive their food offerings from the locals before returning to their Wat to pray and eat. This Package ends after you check out of your accommodation today
